Picnic AreasTake advantage of the hiking trails and two picnic areas at Whispering Ridge Cabins. Picnic area #1 is Davy�s Meadow. Not far from the Davy Crockett cabin, this picnic area has a volleyball court and is also the trailhead for Whispering Ridge Trail leading up to the top of the mountain. Picnic area #2 Mountain Top Meadow has great views and leads to another trail called Olde Peach Orchard trail that runs along the top of the ridge. Dogwood Trail leads from the newly refurbished Hiwassee Cabin to the mediation pond. If you take this hike you�ll get plenty of exercise. Find the Gnomes!Along the hiking trails mysterious little Gnomes dwell at various locations.
